GANAS STORE: The Ganas Store is open!!! Make sure to get permission & a pass from your teacher to go with your Ganas to Mrs. Cavazos-Escamilla’s office to purchase school supplies and small items. |
STUDENT COUNCIL: We will be voting during Homeroom next Wednesday & Friday for Student Council Officers. |
PERSONAL PROJECT 10th GRADE– We will have a Personal Project mandatory meeting on Tuesday, September 13th in the cafeteria from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Please remind your parents that attendance to this meeting is required. Let Ms. Montalvo know if you have any questions or are unable to attend so arranges can be made. |
FRIDAY ASSEMBLY: Students will not have a high school assembly on Friday, September 16 at 2:00. The reason we are not having assembly is because we are having a districtwide IDEA College Fair in the gym from 1-3 that day. |
ATHLETICS: Volleyball Junior Varsity and Varsity have games on Tuesday, September 13 vs. IDEA Alamo. The JV begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Varsity plays at 7:30. Come out and support the Lady Titans at their away game!!! |
ATHLETICS: Varsity Flag Football Players will play on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. The game will be held in McAllen vs. IDEA Mission. Location will be announced later!!! Come out and support the Donna Titans new Flag Football Team! |
DETENTION/WEST WING: West Wing will be EVERY DAY and run by Ms. Griffith, Mr. Wagner & Mrs. Stout in Room 301 in the 9th grade hall. Report there immediately after school—you have to stay for a minimum of 45 minutes. HS Detention is Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 3:45 until 4:30 and will be held in Room 305 in the 9th grade hall. Parents will have to sign you out of detention. You will not be able to ride the bus if you have detention or West Wing. |
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: If you are interested in starting a student organization or club, pick up a CLUB AUTHORIZATION FORM outside the high school teacher’s lounge. When the form is complete, turn it in to the box outside Ms. Lopez’s door. |
CAFETERIA FAST PASS: If you get perfect attendance this week, your name will be put in a drawing to receive a CAFETERIA FAST PASS. We are going to give out one fast pass per grade level, and we will be announcing the winner during Homeroom on Mondays. With this pass, YOU AND TWO FRIENDS will be able to go to the front of the line in the cafeteria! Make sure you come to school every day and don’t leave early or arrive tardy if you want to be eligible for this!!! |
TITANS BOOSTER CLUB: The newly founded Titans Athletic Booster Club is having a TITANS SKEET SHOOTING FUNDRAISER in honor of Titans Athletics on Saturday, September 17, 2011. All students received a flyer on Friday for this event. For more information, call Mayra Zamora at 929-2922 or Hector Zamora at 929-4145. |
