FRIDAY ASSEMBLY:  This Friday, grades 9-12 will meet in the gym for a pep rally to celebrate a home basketball game.

JUNIORS!!!! We will be having a community service event taking place on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Weslaco. This is a great opportunity to serve the community and partake in a warming event. We will be assisting in the "FEAST of SHARING." Please sign up with Ms. Barrera or contact her for any questions.

IB LEARNER PROFILE:  The next IB Learner of the Week your teachers will be choosing will be “Thinker”.  Thinkers exercise initiative in applying thinking skills critically and creatively to recognize and approach complex problems, and make reasoned, ethical decisions Make sure to exhibit these qualities to be chosen as an IB Learner of the Week!

BASKETBALL:  This week, our JV boys team has an away game against La Grulla at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

BASKETBALL:  The Varsity Boys have a game on Tuesday against IRRA Raymondville at home at 7:30.  Wednesday, 12/7, Varsity Boys play against La Grulla at 7:30.  Friday, 12/9, Varsity Boys play an away game at 7:30 against IDEA San Benito this week.  This Saturday, 12/10, at 11:30, we have a home game vs. IRRA Brownsville.  Wish them luck and head out to support Titan Basketball!!!  Remember:  $1 or 4 ganas for students to enter.

BASKETBALL:  The Varsity Girls have a HOME game on Tuesday, 12/6 against IRRA Raymondville at 6:00.  Varsity Ladies will also play an away game against IDEA San Benito on Friday at 6:00.  This Saturday, 12/10, at 10:00 a.m., we will host IRRA Brownsville.  Come out and support your Lady Titans!  See you there!  Remember:  $1 or 4 ganas for students to enter.

FIELD LESSON FUNDRAISING/PAYMENT:  Field Lessons will be from May 21-25.  Pick up “Sponsor a Titan” letters from Mrs. Mendez.  Field Lesson costs are $300 for the in-state trip and $800 for the out of state trip.

CAFETERIA FAST PASS: Make sure you come to school every day and don’t leave early or arrive tardy if you want to be eligible for a CAFETERIA FAST PASS.  There will be one fast pass per grade level each week.  With this pass, YOU AND TWO FRIENDS will be able to go to the front of the line in the cafeteria!
